Google's Android P Name "Pie"Google has officially revealed that the next major release of Android will be known as Android 9 Pie.
Google has picked a sweet and crisp name for Android P, which is otherwise quite feature-rich and comes with a new gesture navigation system. You've also got other AI features such as Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, a Digital Wellbeing toolbox, and other nifty new features.

The Android 9 Pie build has already started rolling out to Pixel devices and the Essential Phone (yes, that's surprising, right?). The Digital Wellbeing and Slices features are not live yet and will be available later in fall.
